INDICATIONS

Acne:

Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) is a bacterium involved in the pathogenesis of acne vulgaris.? The blue light is effective for treating P. acnes because it destroys its cell membrane. It is recommended a total of 8 sessions (2 sessions per week) of Light therapy during 10-20 minutes. The light therapy may be used in combination with microdermabrasion.

Wound Healing:

LED red phototherapy might enhance wound healing following surgical aesthetic and resurfacing procedures. It is recommended to expose the area for 20 minutes immediately after the procedure, 48 hours post-procedure and two more times in the following week. The benefits are faster healing of redness, inflammation and bruising.

Actinic keratosis (AK).

AK refers to rough, scaly lesions that can occur following long-term sun exposure in fair-skinned persons. It occurs most often occur on the face, forearms, and back of the hands. The stimulation with red LED therapy improves noticeable this skin lesions.

Skin Rejuvenation:

Improves the appearance of photoaged skin. This nonthermal process stimulates fibroblast proliferation, collagen synthesis, growth factors and extracellular matrix production. The result is lifting and tightening lax skin and wrinkle reduction.? Recommended exposure: 20 min using red LED light once or twice a week.
